WHAT A BRILLIANT WAY TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY, GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY AND FIND SOME FABULOUS NEW THINGS!
I just wanted to thank the wonderful girls from Eastwood Heights Public School for inviting me to present and assist at their first ever Fashion Recycler Girls Night clothes swap – it was amazing!
This was a wonderful event to raise money for the school and give the girls a chance to meet some other Mum’s and staff from the school.
Everyone was so positive and friendly, and all brought along great clothes, shoes and accessories in every style and size to ensure there was something for everyone. It was brilliant to see such generosity.
There was so much laughter and craziness, and it was so wonderful to see how all the girls were helping one another and swapping things that didn’t work for them.
I must say I so enjoyed being welcomed by this great bunch of girls and was so impressed with their willingness to try different styles and ask for tips and advice.
This event was a win-win for everyone – the girls that attended, the school and also the women’s refuges that received all of the left over clothes and accessories.
Congratulations to Jimin Lim who won a session with me to shop or have her wardrobe cleansed – that’s going to be great fun!
The night would not have been possible without the wonderful organization and planning by Carmen Lee Platt. Congratulations Carmen, you created a brilliant event for us all to have fun and do something for others; you are brilliant!
Thanks again Girls for a really fun night!
Cheers, Julie-Ann AKA The Style Trooper
