Everywhere you look there are brilliant boots at this time of year. We may be facing the warmest Autumn in memory, but it’s still a great time to check out what’s out there…… and will have to get a chilly eventually!
There really is something for everyone with great styles, textures and price points.
Wittner, Basque, Kurt Geiger and Country Road all have ankle boots in store and if you want to really invest, check out the fab Chloe, Rag and Bone or Ash boots from these high end international designers.
I am really excited about what’s around, as there are so many heel heights, crazy textures, toe styles and colours to choose from.
This season nothing is off limits, with the sexy spike heels, chunky stacked heels or the super comfortable Dr Martens or Superga high top styles.
I have found ankle boots with traditional pointed toes, square toes, comfortable round toes as well as cut outs, lace ups, fringed and printed textures.
These are great to dress up an outfit or give a super stylish edge to your comfortable jeans and tshirt look, no matter what your style, budget or age.
I like to wear the ankle boot with a pair of skinny or straight jeans or the shorter styles with a dress.
Take a look at these images that show girls wearing ankle boots in many different ways and nailing the look – so that you elongate your legs and look edgy and age appropriate!
Note from me: A high heel always looks great, but for me it is for times when I don’t need to do too much walking ie dinner or lunch, a meeting, or a short outing. I would never wear high heels shopping or anywhere I find myself doing a lot of walking or standing ….. but maybe that’s just me, as I’m at the stage where comfort is a must!
